6 Ways to Style a Blanket Scarf
This is not a drill! Blanket scarves are one of our new favorite accessories simply because there's endless ways to style them!
Watch me style our new Toasty Plaid Blanket Scarf on IGTV!
Here are our 6 favorite ways:
1. Classic Wrap
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Roll the scarf up by the straight edge and wrap around your neck, leaving the ends hanging freely in front of you.
2. Bandana Style
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Roll the scarf up by the straight edge and wrap around your neck. Take the ends and tie together in a knot underneath the large triangle portion of the scarf. Hide the knot once tied and fluff to finish off!
3. Front Tie
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Roll the scarf up by the straight edge and wrap around your neck. Take the ends and tie together in a knot, much like the bandana style, but instead of hiding the tie, you are going to tie the ends together on top of the large triangle portion of the scarf.
4. Front to Back Loose Wrap
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Roll the scarf up by the straight edge and wrap around your neck, leaving one long edge behind you and only bringing one forward. Adjust accordingly, you don't want the edge in the back to be too long!
5. Shawl
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Instead of rolling, leave the scarf as one big triangle and wrap around your shoulders, leaving the long edges in front of you, and the triangle point going down your back. Wrap your favorite belt around your waist, over the scarf. Check the back to make sure the point of the scarf is pulled under the belt!
6. Infinity Knot
Fold the scarf into a triangle by matching opposite corners up together. Roll the scarf up by the straight edge and fold in half, letting the two straight edges hang over one shoulder in front of you, and the point of the triangle hang over the other shoulder in front of you. Pull both straight edges through the loop of the triangle and adjust to ensure that both sides are even! Tip: make sure that your straight edges are pulled through the loop far enough so your scarf stays secure!
